It is great to have one application that brings together different applications. Octonius does that, it is a product of Octonius incorporated. It is an application available to i Phone users. It is a freeware that you do not pay for it, you just download and install it to your device then you need to have an Octonius account which has a simple interface with menus like collections, flow, browse and flow. With this application you can be able to view arrange, share and synchronize all materials in form of files that are on the cloud, Drop box and Google drive. Generally it is a great application that goes out of the normal way to provide the iPhone users with the ideal service that they need in managing and sharing of files. I don’t think there are many applications in the market that are doing this kind of work in the market currently which is a plus. Octonius incorporated have done a great job in developing this wonderful application. I would urge I phone users to try it out and see its great services.

  • It is simple and easy to use.
  • It is free of charge.

  • It faces competition from similar products.
  • It is specific to iPhone users.
Ease to access guides and manuals:

Octonius is an iPhone app that allows managing and syncing your files across Google Drive, Dropbox and Evernote cloud storage platforms. It includes a flow timeline which allows you to check what is going on with your files and collections to get them grouped. Similarly, Octonius makes it possible to create deadline reminders and tasks for your files. This is an interesting app for those regularly working with documents, like students or freelancers.

It allows managing and syncing of your files across Google Drive, Dropbox and Evernote

Octonius includes centralized search and unified browsing. That means that you won’t need to remember which cloud service your file was in, because it will search for it at once in the three of them. However, some of the weaknesses of Octonius are that the search results do not show notebooks or tags and the loading speed is a bit slow. Similarly, some criticism arose when the Facebook integration was definitively removed in the latest version.

How does it work?

Using Octonius is pretty simple. After the download and setup process, the first thing you must do is enter your name and email address to get registered. Then you should connect and sync Octonius with Google Drive, Evernote and Dropbox services. You will only have to login once to access to all your cloud accounts. Once you have done that, you will be taken to Octonius’ homescreen, where you will see four different modules: Collections, Flow, Browse and Search. Sometimes you will see alerts below like “2 reminders due today”, “3 tasks completed today” or “15 files changed today”.

“Collections” is oriented to collect and show the projects and documents you stored in the cloud storage platforms. “Flow” is a history database where you can visualize the files and notes that have been uploaded, changed or created recently. “Browse” and “Search” are devoted to file search.
